WHY THIS MATTERS TO ANOTHER CLIENT

A good merch or uniform system should be easy to launch, easy to reorder and measurable once customers start interacting with it. These signals show that progression without publishing private commercial figures.

PROJECT CONTEXT

THE STORY BEHIND THE WORK.

Since 2003, Maloney’s has been more than a barber shop. It has become a cornerstone of Auckland’s grooming scene, built around skill, character and connection.

The goal for the merchandise range was to take that established identity and the Otis Frizzell artwork connected to the shop and turn it into products customers could genuinely buy and wear.

The collection was structured across tees, crews and hoodies with red and blue artwork variants. That created variety across the range while keeping the visual system coherent and recognisably Maloney’s.

The result is an eight-product collection that gives the shop a consistent merchandise system rather than a one-off print run, while verified storefront activity continues to build around the different designs.
